Fresh Mint Bug Spray

Regular price $8.50

While summer’s warm days and long nights afford us ample time to enjoy the great outdoors, summer is also prime time for mosquitoes or bloodsuckers that can both ruin our outdoor enjoyment and carry diseases such as West Nile virus. Perusing the bug-repellent aisle at your grocery store or pharmacy, you’ll find a swarm of mosquito-control products based on the chemical DEET. But before you spray yourself, your family and your yard with these products, consider the health effects. We don’t have to rely on chemicals to keep pesky and potentially dangerous mosquitoes at bay. Try our favorite natural mosquito control methods instead.

Mint is an effective, nontoxic insect deterrent. It is particularly useful in keeping mosquitoes, ants, and flies at bay. This bug spray gets its power from mint infused (which, I grow in my own back yard) water and a healthy dose of a wide variety of essential oils that the little vampires are supposed to hate. Over eight proven bug repellent essential oils goes into this very useful bug spray. Excellent for spraying around your patio, yard, animals, or even your own personal space.

Ingredients: Organic mint leaves, grain alcohol (helps to carry the bug spray to the target, but evaporates so as to not harm you or your yard), pure essential oils of lemon eucalyptus, peppermint, citronella, lemongrass, lavender, clove, cinnamon and geranium.
